I was born and raised in Camillus, New York and began my art career as a fourth grader when I made a large mural of my favorite dinosaurs for Parents Day. For Columbus Day, I made cork models of the Nina, Pinta and the Santa Maria. Since then I have discovered that I have been blessed with a gift for using head and hand to make my thoughts tangible realities.
I graduated from S.U.N.Y. Buffalo with a BFA in Communication Design and established a career as a Graphic Designer and Art Director in various design and Advertising firms in Central New York. More recently I have chanelled my career more toward public art, mural painting, oil painting and portraits. Because of my love of painting, and my love of landscape and seascape it was a natural progression to paint en plein air.
I was master artist for two successive years for "Gallery 37", West Valley Arts Council's summer intern project, where I directed high school art students to conceive, design, present and produce a piece of public art. I am presently a member of the Plein Air Painters of Maine and the Kennebeck Valley Art Association.
